Precautions For Hard Alloy Blades
Oct 12, 2023
The characteristics of hard alloy materials determine the importance of safe operation of hard alloy cutting machine blades. Before installing the blades, please take protective measures to avoid unnecessary personal and property safety losses caused by the blades falling off.
1. Audible inspection: When installing the blade, please carefully hook the blade with your right index finger and let it hang in the air. Then, gently tap the blade body with a wooden hammer, and listen to the sound emitted by the blade body with your ear. For example, if the blade emits a voiced sound, experience has shown that the blade body is often damaged by external force, resulting in cracks or injuries. This type of blade should be immediately prohibited from use. Do not use foot cutting machine blades that emit voiced sounds!
2. Blade installation: Before installing the blade, please carefully clean the dust, chips, and other debris on the mounting surface of the rotating bearing of the cutting machine, and keep the bearing mounting surface and the cutting machine clean.
2.1. Carefully and smoothly place the blade on the mounting surface of the bearing, and rotate the foot cutter bearing by hand to automatically align with the center of the blade.
2.2. Install the pressure blade block on the cutting machine blade and align the bolt hole with the bolt hole on the bearing of the cutting machine.
2.3. Install the Allen bolt and tighten the screw with an Allen wrench to firmly install the blade on the bearing.
2.4. After the installation of the blade, there should be no looseness or deviation.
3. Safety protection: After the installation of the blade, the safety protective cover and other protective devices on the cutting machine must be installed in place and have a true protective effect before starting the cutting machine (there should be safety barriers, steel plates, rubber and other protective layers around the blade studio on the cutting machine).
4. Operating speed: The working speed of the foot cutting machine should be limited to below 4500 revolutions per minute. It is strictly prohibited to operate the cutting machine beyond the speed limit!
5. Test machine: After the blade is installed, it should be idle for 5 minutes and carefully observe and listen to the operation of the cutting machine. There should be no obvious looseness, vibration, or other abnormal sounds (such as obvious axial and end face runout of the cutting machine bearings). If any abnormal phenomena occur, the vehicle should be stopped immediately and professional maintenance personnel should be asked to check the cause of the fault. Only after confirming that the fault is completely eliminated and normal can it be used.
6. During the cutting process, please advance the circuit board that needs to be cut at a constant speed, and avoid pushing the circuit board too quickly. When there is a severe collision between the circuit board and the blade, it can lead to blade damage (collision, cracking), and even serious safety accidents.
7. Blade storage method: It is strictly prohibited to write or mark on the blade using an electric engraving pen or other scratch methods to prevent damage to the blade body. The blade of the foot cutting machine is extremely sharp, but very fragile. To avoid injury to personnel or accidental damage to the blade, do not touch the human body or other hard metal objects with the blade. The blades to be used should be properly kept and stored by dedicated personnel, and should not be casually placed to prevent damage to the blades or accidents.
8. The premise of production efficiency is also safe operation, and cutting operators must comply with relevant usage requirements in order to ensure safe operation of the cutting machine blade on the cutting machine.
